Background Info: Like many of the Academy’s students young Wendy Whateley is a creature born from terror and raised in madness. Recovered from the aftermath of Dunwich incident (she had been found in a small alcove dug out of the ruined Whateley homestead basement) and seeming to be either mad Wilbur’s daughter, sister, or niece, she was sent at the behest of Prof. Rice who hoped that her exposure to the other girls and a more stable setting would help undo some of the poison no doubt fed to her under the care of elder Whateley.
While a noble and not unreasonable goal given the Academy’s success with some of the other girls, Wendy seems more then eager to follow in her family’s wicked footsteps. She is an incorrigible troublemaker who constantly finds herself at odds with the faculty and staff for both her practical “jokes” (we’re still unclear how to she was able to move the headmaster’s office furniture into the parking lot all by herself) and her propensity for tormenting, bullying, or fleecing her fellow students. Though there are few constants at Miskatonic Academy there is one thing you can always be sure of: if there’s trouble brewing Wendy can usually be found at the bottom of it.
