Background Info: One of the more tragic cases at the Academy, Piper was a foundling literally left on the building doorstep one dark night with naughty but a ragged plush toy and note begging that she be taken care of. Inquiry into her origins and parentage yielded few clues, though we were able to discern that her mother had once been part of a research team sent to Antarctica. Given the some of the strangeness that haunts that frozen waste as well as the account of the ill-fated Miskatonic University Expedition one need to stretch the imagination too far as to what may have occurred to bring about the young girl’s creation.
Still, as always the Academy stepped up to the plate and took charge of the situation. Nicknamed Piper by the staff for her high but curiously melodic voice she instantly fell in with fellow students Kat and Donna, becoming something of a “kid sister” to them. Though sometimes a little on the dim side she abounds with a youthful vitality and boundless enthusiasm that compliments the older girls more reserved character well. For one who came from such hard beginnings it is both gratifying and hearting that Piper is able to be so upbeat and positive.
