H'okay, so here's the deal. I originally started Katz! as creative release, something I could do when my juices were not flowing over at M@X. It was, on its face, not a bad idea. Three felinish characters with personalities loosely based on my own three fuzz balls living, laughing, and loving in a world populated by anthropomorphized cats. The premise alone would have Disney execs salivating. However, well...just because its a good idea doesn't mean the execution will work. I have enough trouble keeping my main strip updating on time, let alone the more visually complex kitties. Add to this I don't really have the time or energy to flesh out the Katz! world as much as it needs to be and do have other projects and real life responsibilities... Well, to make a long story short (too late!) I'm going to put Katz on sabbatical for a while. The current storyline is finished and now held in the Katz! archive. As for future strips, I really don’t know. I may come back to it if I get inspired but for now consider it a kind of mini-series or pilot for what might have been.
