Background Info: All involved in the incident at Innsmouth breathed a collect sigh of relief when the authorities stepped and the situation was brought under control. However, while most of the village’s population was interred in camps one unique specimen caught their attention. Dubbed “Donna” she was singled out by both her kinsmen and the authorities for her unique physiology and curiously still human mind. Though obviously having undergone at least a partial transformation she retained much of her sanity despite having be raised in what must have been a nightmarish environment. Unwilling to let her go but not wishing to lock her up with the rest of her people she was transferred to the Academy for care and study.
The story of Innsmouth, at least in Donna’s case, seems to have had a happy ending after all. Upon arriving she was befriended by Kat, thus easing her transition to normal society. She has found grounding in using her innate understanding of aquatic life to work towards a degree in marine biology. She is also captain of the swim team and a regional swim team champion. Though still quiet, reserved and a little shy Donna has taken to both life and studies like…well, a fish to water.
